Ever since Dwight Howard bolted to Houston for more money and less pressure, the unspoken hatred from Kobe Bryant has well… been mostly unspoken.
That was until opening night when the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Houston Rockets.
At one critical moment during the game, Howard comes down with the rebound and it was then that Bryant immediately runs over and covers him aggressively. Howard felt like it was a good idea to then fill the court with elbows, with one actually catching Bryant on the chin.
Well, words were exchanged and both teams had to be separated. But no one was as pissed as Kobe Bryant.
Since Bryant couldn’t retaliate, he decided to let Howard know that he was “soft”, among other things that I’d rather let you hear below than let me repeat.
For some reason, if Bryant and Howard did come to blows, I have a weird feeling that Bryant would come out on top. It doesn’t matter that Howard is a physical beast and nearly 7-feet tall, but Bryant is a beast in his own right and will do anything to win… even in a fight.
