VIDEO: Kobe Bryant Hurts Shoulder & Decides To Shoot With Other Hand

And the hits just keep on coming.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant were dealt another blow today when they found out that the future Hall of Fame guard has a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. It seems that no matter how many times Bryant pushes through an injury over the past few years, another one pops right back up. The injury appeared to occur during last night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans when Bryant dunked the ball (see video).

The MRI on Kobe Bryant's right shoulder showed "a tear of the rotator cuff." Full press release attached: pic.twitter.com/2GAd8Vzw3L

This tear is going to force Bryant out for at least a handful of games, which I’m sure is going to make many people sad and unhappy. But what’s even more depressing is to watch Bryant suffer another injury on a play that looked so simple and routine. Remember when he tore his achilles? The team was even convinced that he wasn’t hurt that badly this time around, that they allowed him to re-enter the game. So what do you do if you’re Kobe Bryant and you hurt the shoulder you shoot with? Why, shoot with the other one of course!

You can call Bryant a ton of different names, but the things you won’t call him is “weak” and “soft”. Feel free to call him ambidextrous though.
