Remember when Michael Vick was arguably the most popular athlete in the NFL, was getting paid by major endorsements and had everything going for him?
Well, so does he.
Today, Vick posted an interesting photo to his Instagram account to celebrate “Throwback Thursday”: A photo of him on the cover of Madden 2004.
And that’s quite a throwback, with it being almost exactly 10 years ago. In 2004, Vick had everything going for him. Sure, Vick was dabbling with illegal dogfighting that sent him to prison, but he was also in the middle of a huge contract and a Pro Bowl season.
So how good are things for Vick now? Well, he’s no longer a starter in the NFL (he’s riding the bench behind Geno Smith for the New York Jets), making millions again and is very far away from a prison cell.
