Either Wade Phillips has no hard feelings towards his old team, or he REALLY loves watching football live from the cheap seats. My guess is the latter.
The former Dallas Cowboys head coach attended last Monday night’s game between the Cowboys and Washington Redskins, but instead of dishing out cash to sit closer to the field, Wade opted to sit in the upper deck, alone, with the fans. Check out his view below, that he posted to his Twitter account.
You’d think that a man who had coached the team from 2007 to 2010 could have gotten hooked up with free tickets, or even better seats, but by the caption he wrote on the picture, it looks like Phillips wanted to sit up high with the fans, and I admire that. It even looks like the fans enjoyed his company despite him only giving them one playoff victory during his tenure.
Maybe Phillips wanted to feel like he was back in his glory days when he was a defensive coordinator looking down from the box seats. There’s no better place to dissect and see an offense then by sitting in the upper deck.
Of course, there’s no place to tried to hide from his old bosses than in the cheap seats.
