PIC: Marshawn Lynch Appears To “Hang Them Up” And Retires

It looks like Beast Mode might have stole some of Peyton Manning’s thunder.

On a night where the Denver Broncos captured the title for Super Bowl 50 in what may have been Manning’s final game, a simple photo looks like it might be Marshawn Lynch’s final season too.

Lynch took to Twitter Sunday night and posted an image that appears to have been his retirement announcement. With a simple “peace” sign and cleats dangling from some wire, many believe that these means Lynch has “hung them up”.

And to further stir the pot, some of his high profile teammates and team owner have confirmed it by saying farewell to the Pro Bowl running back.

Salute to my guy @MoneyLynch … It was an honor sharing the field with you.

Honor playing with one of the best running backs of all time! Going to miss sharing the backfield with you 24… #BeastMode @MoneyLynch

@MoneyLynch lol only beastmode would announce it like that! Man it was a great run one of the best teammates I ever had! #firstballot

@Seahawks Thank you @MoneyLynch for a great career as a Seahawk. So many memorable runs and quakes! #BeastMode !

If Lynch is walking away from the game at the age of 29, good for him. He’s gotten the personal awards and has been to the big game twice, winning once. Why keep pushing it any longer and damage your body. You lived it up and had your fun. Now go enjoy retirement before the age of 30. That’s what I call success.
