Just when Los Angeles Lakers’ fans were getting either more annoyed or over it that Mike D’Antoni was in LA to stay, he resigns.

According to the Lakers, Mike D’Antoni has resigned from the team and will not be back next season. Earlier this week, USA Today reported that D’Antoni was looking for a little more job security and was asking the Lakers to pick up his 2015-2016 option. Well, I think that’s where things probably went sour.
So now, the coaching search begins.
