The Phoenix Suns want Devin Booker to be involved in their Process.

Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough told AZ Central on Thursday that the third year guard will be involved in all major team decisions in some way or another.
“With his emergence and importance to not only what we’re doing in the short term but hopefully in the next decade-plus, I think it’s important to make him a partner in the process,” McDonough said.
Booker, who’s only 21, is averaging a career-high 24 points a game and continues to get better. However, it does seem a bit early to start involving a player in major team decisions who’s so young. Although Booker is talented, he’s yet to make an All-Star team and may still have his own growing pains to go through. Again, let’s not forget, he just turned 21 in October.
But it appears the Suns are willing to stamp him as the franchise and hand over the keys, especially after the whole fiasco with Eric Bledsoe earlier this year. It appears that the love between the two parties is mutual, as Booker has already stated that he wants to stay in Phoenix and will probably sign the max five-year extension worth $156 million next summer.
Let’s hope the team and Booker can grow together and build something respectable in the desert.
