This year is going to be a huge contract year for Russell Wilson. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback is playing in the last year of his rookie contract, despite leading his team to the Super Bowl the last two seasons and winning one of them. Although he has played like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Wilson has one of the lowest base salaries ($1.542 million) among quarterbacks. In fact, there are numerous back-up quarterbacks who have higher base salaries than him.
