Actually, that title is not entirely true.
The truth is that Torrey Smith did say that the Legion of Boom is dropping the hottest album of the year. As far as the Seattle Seahawks secondary putting their stamp on the music world? Not so much.
Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Jeremy Lane and Byron Maxwell (also known as the Legion of Boom) are featured on the latest cover of Sports Illustrated. A great honor and accomplisment for any athlete, and nothing to really poke fun at. But in this case, Torrey Smith’s joke is pretty funny and spot on.
The Seahawks players, for some reason, are just standing there in regular street clothes. Not in their uniforms, rather in bright smiles and a lot of denim and leather. Hardly the intimidating outfits you’d think they’d be sporting.
Mr. Smith, of the Baltimore Ravens, thought it was a great time to post a nice little comment on Twitter. And the timing couldn’t have been any better.
As you’d have guess, Sherman had something to say about the post. Luckily, he had a sense of humor about it all.
He wasn’t the only one who had some fun with the shoot. Apparently a pizza delivery guy was dropping off some food and decided to get in one of the photos. (See below)
Legion of Boom. Coming soon to a venue near you.
