PICS: It Pays To Be Fast As Three Players Win $100k For Fastest 40 Times

It took these three players less than 4.4 seconds to win $100,000.

With the NFL Combine underway and with many players who are just grateful to be there, these particular three players had a little more incentive to perform faster than the others.

Trae Waynes, Phillip Dorsett and Kevin White each won $100,000 from their sponsor, Adidas. In the past, Adidas only paid their top-fastest player $100,000, but this year they widened that field to three. It really does pay to be fast.

And not only did they get paid, they also got to meet Snoop Dogg himself, who also happens to be sponsored by Adidas. Why was Snoop there? Who cares, it’s still awesome!

If you’re curious who was the fastest out of the three players, here’s a quick recap.

  1. Trae Waynes, Michigan State, CB: 4.31 seconds
  2. Phillip Dorsett, Miami, WR: 4.33 seconds
  3. Kevin White, West Virgian, WR: 4.35 seconds

Speed pays. @TWaynes_15, @Dorsett_4 and @kwhite8 won $100k for having the 3 fastest 40's by #teamadidas athletes. pic.twitter.com/WChYym5FQB
