Call off the National Guard and tell the search parties to stay home. They won’t be needed.
San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence had his stolen scooter returned today, unharmed. If you were unaware, Pence’s scooter was stolen a few days ago and he was offering a signed bobblehead of him riding the scooter as a reward if the scooter was returned safe and in one piece. For those who didn’t see the bobblehead that was being offered, you can see it below.
The scooter was returned to Pence via escort by the San Francisco Police Department. According to SF Gate, the scooter was returned by a group of people to the police at AT&T Park. Since the scooter was never reported stolen, no one is being sought for the responsibility of this eco.
The scooter holds a special place in Pence’s heart, as the outfielder rides the scooter to the ballpark when in San Francisco.
Apparently if you’re a famous athlete with a social media account, it’s easier to get stolen property returned by citizens rather than calling the police.
And by the looks of Pence’s tweet, it looks like Batkid played some kind of role in the pursuit… or clean-up duty.
Together again!!! Want to thank the #Batkid for keeping the streets of SF clean!! http://t.co/ypoguTGBZW
